Fields of activity
Sebastian Remy works as a member of the team Holistic Building Design and Management in the Scientific Accompanying Research ENERGIEWENDEBAUEN.
Among other things, he examines how mathematical optimization approaches can be used in the analysis and evaluation of political susidy programs aimed at reducing CO2 emissions in the building sector.
From 2011 to 2017, Sebastian Remy studied industrial engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. He graduated in 2017 with a master's degree.
Sebastian gained practical experience outside his studies as a student assistant at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at the RWTH Aachen University.
In addition to working as a student assistant, he also wrote his master's thesis there and was hired as a research assistant after completing his studies.
