Fields of activity

As a team member of the team building automation, Marc Baranski researches advanced control approaches for building energy systems. In the project “exergy-based control”, he studies opportunities for the utilization of exergy analysis for control of heating and ventilation systems. He further implements novel control systems in the ERC main building.

CV

Marc Baranski studied industrial engineering with mayors in mechanical engineering and specialization in energy engineering at RWTH Aachen University. After his Bachelor’s degree, he continued his studies in the Master’s programme Energy Engineering at RWTH and specialized in Renewable Energy Engineering.  Since 2015, he is a research associate at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate of the E.ON Energy Research Center at the RWTH Aachen University in the field of building automation.
