Renewable Energies for Buildings 1

Fields of activity

Tim Röder primarily works on the simulation and optimization of indoor airflows in residential buildings and their ventilation systems. His work focuses mainly on the assessment of different ventilation concepts and on the development of single ventilation components. The projects are performed with CFD-analysis, whose employment shall be improved and adjust shortly to the current challenges.

CV

Tim Röder studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University and after completing his bachelor's degree, he continued his master's degree at the RWTH Aachen University with focus on Aeronautical Engineering. Subsequently, he started his research at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at the end of 2016.
