Fields of activity

Konstantin Finkbeiner primarily works on the reduction in energy consumption of large non-residential buildings. His work focuses mainly on the development of concepts for zoning of non-residential buildings, as well as the development of sustainable energy supply systems. The concept evaluation and analysis is made by annual simulations of the entire building energy system.

CV

Konstantin Finkbeiner studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University and after completing his bachelor's degree, he continued his master's degree at the RWTH Aachen University with focus on Energy Engineering. Subsequently, he started his research at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at the beginning of 2016.
